How do I get started with Pet Pixie?
Please call or email us to schedule an initial in-home consultation. Prior to the consultation we will provide you with forms to complete that are relevant to you and your pet(s) needs. This is information we need about you, your pet(s), your home, and your vets. We will come to your home, meet your pet(s), become familiar with your home and routine, and discuss all pertinent information about your pet's needs. if you require a dog walking service we will take your dog(s) out on a short walk with you to assess their personality and behaviour to enable us to provide an appropriate walk for them.
What happens if my pet is taken ill?
When you register with us you will complete a form that provides us with the details of the veterinary practise your pet is registered with. This includes permission for us to take your pet to their vets on your behalf in an emergency situation. Any decisions regarding their medical care and all costs associated are the responsibility of the owner. We carry a basic First Aid kit for pets on us at all times should your pet need any attention for minor injuries such as superficial graze during a dog walk. You will always be informed of any injury no matter how small to allow you to make the decision as to whether you would like us to take your pet to their registered veterinary practice.
